Every KLP racing swingarm starts with using the highest quality 6061 T-6 Aluminum. Our swingarms are fabricated in "O" condition and welded totally in a precision made fixture.  Then, it is refixtured and ready for heat treating.  Heat treating aluminum is a two stage process. First, it is taken from an"O" to "W"condition. Then, it is aged back to a uniform T-6 condition. It is the uniformity of the T-6 condition throughout the swingarm that gives it the superior stength and rigidity.
